The 4th IBK Germany Summer Training Camp was a huge success.

The 4th IBK Germany Summer Training Camp was a huge success. There were over 80 attendees. They came from many different counties and from the Germany States of Sachsen, Mecklenburg, Bayern and Hessen.

Three of the IBK Board members, Kancho Henk Kuipers and Vice Chairman Hanshi Bernard Creton and Secretary Shihan Don Saint, were in attendance. Our Kaicho Jon Bluming was unable to attend and was missed but everyone sent their respects and best Wishes.

Dai Shihan Ralf Fahrun was honored for his 40 years in Kyokushin Karate and was promoted to Shihan 7th Dan. As stated by Kancho Henk Kuipers and OSU by all present, his promotion was well earned and Dai Shihan Ralf is deeply appreciated for his many years of service to the Budo way and to the IBK.

There were 20 to 25 hard training participating Kyokushin Fighters for the Black Belt testing’s. As required there are many fighters required for the Kumite portion of our Kyokushin Black Belt testing.

This Summer Training Camp was held in Rostock, on Saturday June 4th and Sunday June 5th, 2010.
Dai Shihan for Germany, Shihan 7th Dan Ralf Fahrun provided the leadership with his always excellent, proficient, and professional standards. Dai Shihan Ralf Fahrun was ably assisted by Sensei Michael Schramm, and Sensei André Biemann. Shihan Bogdan Schedina with students from his Dojo in Lang Göns (near Giessen) was active in assisting the participants.

Instructors were; Kancho Henk Kuipers, Hanshi Bernard Creaton, Shihan Don Saint, Shihan Ralf Fahrun, Shihan Wolfgang Tauer, and Shihan Tom Madsen who was active in every part. Dai Shihan (Scandinavia) Tom is an all-rounder who is actively fighting world-wide and still adding more skills and knowledge to his vast arsenal. Dai Shihan Tom Madsen and Sensei André Biemann served as opponents in the demonstrations.

IBK Training is always hard, however with Kaicho Henk Kuipers and Hanshi Bernard Creton and Dai Shihan Tom Madsen it was the hardest and in full accordance with and included the many techniques of Kyokushin Karate and Kyokushin-Budokai the System of Kaicho Jon Bluming.

Especially hard, as it must be, was the Black Belt testing for those tested for their 1st Dan, 2nd Dan, and 3rd Dan. Because of the hard preparations and training of Dai Shihan Ralf Fahrun the following were found fit and passed and were awarded their Black Belts.

Ralf Fahrun 7th Dan
Torsten Jackwitz 3th Dan
Simone Schultze 2th

Toralf Jackwitz 2th

A special big thanks to so many who worked so hard to make this the best Training Camp to date. They each deserve much praise and many thanks for the accommodations and the efforts. Each demonstrated caring and true Kyokushin spirit that has earned, again, my thanks and I am sure the same from all who participated for a job well done. OSU!

We are planning another very hard two day Training Session with very hard Black Belt testing on dates to be announced later this year.

Regrettably Kaicho Jon Bluming was not able to attend this Summer Training Camp. We wish for Kaicho good health and the best of all things good, and hope to have him in attendance at future Germany Training Camps and Championships.
OSU!
