Wonderful Championships in Poland

Saturday 16/05/2009 Kaicho Jon Bluming came to 2^nd Polish Kyokushin Budokai Championships to Zambrow Poland. Over 60 fighters took part from Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Sweden both in knock-down and full-contact. Thanks to local authorities, Mayor of Zambrow, volunteers and Branch Chief Sensei Artur Wiezowski and his team the tournament was splendid. 

Our greatest thanks goes to Kaicho Jon Bluming who was the Chief Referee, and special thanks to Shihan Mladen Sancic and Croatia who travelled 1500km to Poland. We send our best and warmest wishes of returning to health to Dai Shihan Ralf Fahrun and his team. Unfortunately the German team had a car accident underway and didn’t make it to come.

Next day the Dan Exams took place. Nine new shodans managed to win their first ever black belt! Poland Dai Shihan T.Olejnik was awarded the grade of 6 Dan! and Sensei Z. Szkopiak after 37 years of fighting and teaching karate was promoted to 5 Dan! and branch chief. An obligation for future development of real Budokai in Poland.

Itr was a great IBK May weekend in Poland. We invite all real IBK Karate family to 3^rd  Polish Kyokushin Budokai Championships May 2010 to Poznan, POLAND.
