Osu everyone! IBK Aberdeen University have been competing again! This time at a Knockdown, Grappling and MMA event called 'Fighters in Fife' on 12th May 2012.

All the fighters fought their hearts out and did the IBK proud! Calum Oswald, fighting MMA, decided to fight even though his elbow wasn't really healed from the Scottish Open Knockdown. Upright Calum was more than a match for his opponent, but when it went to the ground he struggled with his injury. Unluckly he lost to an armbar - yep, the bad arm! Next Patrick Jarzylo-Whistler had a great grapple match, won the 1st round, but lost the 2nd, even though his rib crush so nearly worked! The fight was a draw. Mantas Andre was simply amazing in his grapple match, completely dominating his opponent and finishing with a sneaky wrestling choke in the 1st round! Piotr Jachym, in his first MMA fight was billed in the main event! He up against a great fighter from Extreme MMA, who never come unprepared! The result? Win for Piotr in the first round! Check the video, it a bit dark and jumpy to begin with, but it shows how calm Piotr was when they hit the gound.
